She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Pate and Lillie Mae Holley Pate; and her siblings, Elizabeth Lee and William Pate (Bill). She is survived by: her children, Karen Harris (Mike), Katherine Dyer (Marty) and David Wayne Nix; her siblings, Holley Pate, Oscar Pate and Pat Chambers; and her grandchildren, Amy Dillard, Rhea Brinkley, Thomas Rea, Bobby Rea, Joshua Dyer, Lee Dyer and Jason Dyer. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great- grandson; and a host of nieces, nephews and friend.
