She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Whately and Issey Whately; and her siblings, LD Whatley, Willie "Jabo" Whatley, Bobby Joe Whatley, Derkey George "Bill" Whatley and Laurene Whatley Creech.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry Thomas Herchenhahn; her children, Jerry Timothy Herchenhahn (Cherie), Tony Francis Herchenhahn, Tommy Allen Herchenhahn and Terry Thomas Herchenhahn (Keisha); her grandsons, Anthony Noah Herchenhahn, Tyler Ian Herchenhahn, Trey Lee Herchenhahn, Luke Austin Herchenhahn and James Patrick Faucheux III; her great grandchild Brayden James Faucheux; her siblings, Myrtle Dean Whatley Draper, Eveion Whatley, Leo Ray Whatley, Deliween Whatley Morehouse, Faye Whatley Calvert, Donald Whatley and Beatrice Whatley; and her siblings-in-law, Mark Herchenhahn (Sara), Teddy Herchenhahn (Rita), Dianne Nugent (John) and Elizebeth Paddok. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, many friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hanceville Funeral Home (100 Michelle St NW, Hanceville, AL 35077). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel (100 Michelle St NW, Hanceville, AL 35077).
