In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Micheal leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Micheal may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Wayne and Nella Dean Ballard Sterling; and his brother Gary Sterling. He is survived by: his wife Rachel Sterling; his children, Austin Shadrick, Misty Forester and Kate Sterling; his sister-in-law Connie Sterling; and his nephew Timothy Sterling (Jordyn). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cullman Funeral Home (461 US-278, Cullman, AL 35055). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cullman Funeral Home Chapel (461 US-278, Cullman, AL 35055).
