He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Webster and Leola Morris Fondren; his son Mark Fondren; his granddaughter Rachel Fondren; and his siblings, Ruth Gavins, Martha Coe, Clifford Fondren, Claude Fondren and William Fondren.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Green Fondren; his children, Suzanne Bush (Scott) and Paul Fondren (Janie); his grandchildren, Patrick Fondren (Shelby), Sarah Jane Reed (Dustin), Maggie Branson (Bobby) and Will Bush; his great grandchildren, Rhett Fondren, Myles Fondren and Lincoln Reed; his siblings, Faye Wright and Jimmy Ray Fondren (Pat); and his close friends, Jimmy and Mary Lou Hendrix. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hartford Baptist Church (105 E Burch St, Hartford, AL 36344). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
