He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Leroy McAfee and Addie Mae Jackson; and his siblings, Bobby Jones and Rosetta Lynn Elliott. He is survived by: his son Arthur Leroy Thompson (Keia) of Decatur; his siblings, Maple Bumpus of Decatur, Patricia Davis of Decatur, Demetra Strong of Decatur, James Curtis Jones, Michael Jones (Carla), Melvin Jones and Joel Jones (Leaester); and his grandsons, Jakese Thompson and Arthur Leroy Thompson, Jr.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
