He is survived by: his wife Luvell "PeeWee" Powell Nix; his children, Perry Jason Nix (Nancy) and Melissa Rene Nix Roy; his siblings, Jimmy Ray Nix and Margaret Ann Nix Miller; his grandchildren, Forrest "Lonnie" Roy (Amber), Hollie Bridwell (Shane), Dustin Roy (LeighAnna), Emily Sutphin (Tom) and Carlin "Drew" Nix (Katelyn); and his great grandchildren, Landon Bridwell, Sophie Bridwell, Joseph Sutphin and Adelyn Roy.
