She is survived by: her husband Jesse Owens Sr.; her children, Jesse "Buddy" Owens Jr. (Peggy) and Leisa Owens; her sisters, Shirley Baker (Ott), Bernice Welch, Dottie Jenkins (Tippy) and Violet McInturff; and her grandchildren, Chrissy Defenthaler, Jessica Smith and Kelly Rutherford.
