It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Smith of Hartselle, Alabama, born in Kings Mountain, North Carolina, who passed away on January 11, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Short and Mary Short; and her brother Wayne. She is survived by: her husband Jimmy; her children, Travis (Angela), Jason (Jesse) and April; her grandchildren, Cody, Sawyer Smith, Weston, Jameson and Justin Dozier; her great grandchild Rayetta; and her siblings, Nancy (Rob), Judy and Jimmy (Kris).
