It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billie Willis Alvey (Hartselle, Alabama), born in Morrilton, Arkansas, who passed away on September 18, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Ben Alvey; her great grandchild Blake Alvey; and her siblings, Ruby Tomblin, Helen Gentry, Nina Mallett and Arlie Willis.
She is survived by: her parents, Thomas Willis and Pearl Hall Willis; her children, David Alvey (Kim), Margaret Alvey, Rita Klevenski (Randy), Connie Alvey and Jenny DeSalvo; her sisters, Betty Morrow and Doris Brown; and her sisters-in-law, Martha Alvey and Lottie Baker (Ed). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; twenty six great grandchildren.
