She was predeceased by: her parents, Timothy Jarret and Effie Steele Jarret; her husband Horace W. Powell; her sons, Jerry Wayne Powell and Gary Lane Powell; and her sisters, Doris Penn and Audrey Legg. She is also survived by One Son: Timothy Allen Powell Eight Grandchildren Six Great Grandchildren.
