He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Maurice Knox and Alma Jean Mooney Knox; and his brother Ricky Lynn Knox. He is survived by: his wife Dolly Lenise Knox; his son David Allen Knox (Jana); his stepsons, Kenneth Hue Pierce (Diane) and Elmer Keith Pierce (Leigh Ann); and his daughters, Shelly Cox and Danielle Dauthit (Eric).
