He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Best Nuby, Sr. and Mary Lee Dollar Nuby; his wife Margaret Hopper Nuby; his stepmother Elsie Nuby; his brothers, J. C. Nuby and Curtis Nuby; and his half-brother James Ream (Jim).
He is survived by: his daughters, Carolyn Carnell (John) and Angela Ciszek; his sister Dovie Riethmaier; his half-siblings, Sandra Meissner and Marvin Nuby, Jr.; and his granddaughter Brittney Carnell Derek Ciszek. He is also survived by Four Great Grandchildren.
