She was predeceased by: her parents, Rex Childress and Jessie Childress; her husband Ellis Andrew Wayand, Sr.; her daughter Alice Marie Wayand; and her siblings, Peggy Nelson, John Childress, Walter Childress and Michael Childress.
She is survived by: her children, Susie Green (Billy), Ellis Wayand, Jr. (Velvet), Tommie Wayand (Leah) and Cindy Smith (Lee); her grandchildren, Kassie Carr (Justin), Jacob Wayond, Makenzie Smith, Austin Smith, Amanda Ware and Emily York (Rhett); her great grandchildren, Abby Gail Ware, Gracie Thomas, Jason Carr, Shelby Carr and Haley Carr; and her siblings, Carolyn Parnell, Betty Beadnell, Tommy Childress, Ricky Childress and Benny Childress. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
