He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Jackson May, Jr. and Della J. Holmes May; his wife Marie Goodwin May; and his siblings, Hilda Bates Porter, Ada Fay Bates Britt, J. Willard May, Dorothy Jane May Yancey, Jackson Harold May and Beth May Walden.
He is survived by: his pets, Precious, Taz and Zeus; and his grandson John. He is also survived by his three daughters.
