He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Emery Stringer and Esther Marie Stringer; his wife Elsie Mae Stringer; his sons, Charles Illie Stinger and Larry Joe Stringer; and his siblings, Herman "Bounce" Stringer, Marie Cummins, Mabalene Gaddy, Daphne Haynes and Sue Vickers.
He is survived by: his son Keith Stringer. He is also survived by One Sister: Freda Bean Six Grandchildren Nine Great Grandchildren.
