He was predeceased by: his son Johnathan Gabriel Fuqua; and his father James A Fuqua, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Marla Harkness Fuqua; his children, Candida Fuqua Long (Brad) and Joshua Micah Fuqua (Karen); his siblings, Rod Fuqua (Stacy), Mike Fuqua (Quanna), Diana Reaves (Steve), Kelley Clements (John) and Becky Richardson; his mother Rebecca Bowlin Fuqua; and his grandchildren, Brady, Brily Long, Aiden and Micah Fuqua.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the Citizens Bank of Winfield for the Jim Fuqua, Jr Scholarship Fund.
