He is survived by: his wife Loretta Turney; his sons, Brent Mizell and Blake Mizell; his siblings, Darryl Turney (Sherri) and Sandra Cagle (Clarence); his grandchild Brody Mizell; his nephews, Keith Cagle Clay Turney (Jennie) and Brody Turney (Hollie); his great-nephews, Nathan Cagle and Kaiden Turney; and his great-niece Elizabeth Turney.
