He was predeceased by: his parents, Sid Hargett and Learly Hargett; and his siblings, Grady, Athel, Johnny, Leon, Billy Hargett, Vivian Taylor and Lillian Thorn.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Hargett; his son Kel Hargett (Kim); his grandchildren, Jake Johnson (Kelsey), Kelly Grace Treadway (Caleb), Haley Hargett and Madison Hargett; his great grandchildren, Jax Johnson and Charlotte Treadway; and his sister Faye Green.
