He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lewis Callahan and Lela Pannell Callahan; his former wife Zilla Faye Atchley; his children, Jeffrey Callahan and JoAnn Talbott; and his granddaughter Ashlyn Callahan.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Callahan; his children, Hershel Lynn Callahan (Sue), John David Callahan Culleoka (Gina), Mark Anthony Callahan and Mary Ann Hill; and his siblings, Gene Callahan of Somerville, AL, Marshall Callahan, James Callahan, Bobby Callahan and Nell Oden (Delane). He is also survived by Twelve Grandchildren Three Great Grandchildren.
