He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Marvin Godsey and Lucy Estell Nix Godsey. He is survived by: his sons, Michael W. Godsey (Ashley) and Jon Paul Godsey (Amy) of Charleston, SC; and his brothers, Max Godsey and Hoyt Godsey. He is also survived by Four Grandchildren and two Great Grandchildren.
