He is survived by: his children, Welsey Malcolm Patterson, IV, John Kelly Patterson and Mala Patterson; his siblings, Mike Patterson (Tammy) and Susan Smith (Craig); and his siblings' children, Landon Patterson and Lindsey Puckett (Derick).
