She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Clifford Hastings and Irene Thomas Hastings; her husband Charles Benjamin Callaway, Jr.; and her siblings, Robert Thomas Hastings and Jo Ann Hastings Dale.

She is survived by: her children, John Callaway of Huntsville, Lisa Callaway Holmes (Glenn Holmes) of Falkville and Nancy Callaway Thomas (Luke Thomas) of Decatur. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
