She was predeceased by: her parents, William Luther Burgess and Martie Kyker Burgess; her husband John P. Davis; and her daughter Gayle Penn Norman. She is survived by: her children, Larry Penn, Sr., Jerry O. Penn (Sandra), Tommy Penn (Rhonda) and Martha Penn; her sister Willie Mae Burgess; her grandchildren, Cathy Bedingfield, Mike Collum, Larry Penn, Jr., Toni Penn, Tina St. John, Tisha Buenzli and Cora Angiull; and her great great grandchild Abby Stephens.
