He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Jean Waddell; his children, Richard Waddell (Vickie), Tracy Maples (Stacey), Shelia Mauldin, Sharon Williams (Larry), Yolanda Stewart (Jack) and Carolyn Beasley (Kevin); and his sister Mildred Clemons. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
