She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Holz and Mildred Holz (Ramme); her husband Irwin Lester; her stepmother Minnie Holz; her siblings, Norma Ott, Leona Fargher and Harold Holz; and her niece Diana Snyder.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Svetz (James) of Hartselle, AL and David Lester (Joy) of Bolivar, TN; her grandchildren, Monica Shannon of Decatur, AL, Marcy Murphy of Castle Rock, CO and Nathan Lester of Aiken, SC; her great grandchildren, Christian Murphy, Aidan Shannon and Rylee Lester; and her siblings, Marge Shaw (Lyle) of Washington, IL and Herb Holz (Helen) of Ancona.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers any donations be made to Hartselle First United Methodist Church or American Diabetes Association.
