He is survived by: his wife Louise Murphy; his children, Mike Murphy, Jason Murphy (Dee Dee), Jeremy Murphy (Regina) and Amanda Williams (Rick); and his sisters, Kathy Taylor (Howard), Vickey Eaton (James Bomar) and Judy Dunn (Pat). He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren.
