He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Higdon and Helen Higdon (Miller). He is survived by: his wife Mary Higdon (Burgess); his children, Robin Brewer (Mark) and Christopher Higdon (Kelley); his grandson Mason Brewer; his stepgrandchildren, Trevor Brewer, Dallas Braswell (Hunter) and Lukas Brewer; his siblings, Sandra Goodwin (Anthony), Rhonda Higdon and Michael Higdon (Karen); and his sisters-in-law, Emlie Carroll (James) and Martha Jones (Steve). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of Flowers Memorial may be made to the Gideons or St. Jude's Hospital.
