He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Littleton Hance Sandlin and Velma Jacquelyn Orr Sandlin; his wife Jena Gardner Sandlin; his children, Robert Blan Sandlin, II and Brittany Sandlin Alexander (Thomas); his sister Diane Dobbs; and his grandchildren, Bryant Alexander, Mason Alexander Pallbearers, Sandy Fields, Pat Smith, Charlie Gandy, Allen Gandy, Wayne Gandy, Charles Sandlin and Don Sandlin.
