She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearley Asbury Johnson and Mary Garnett Johnson; her husband Harvey Floyd Self; and her siblings, Troy, Pruitt, Douglas Johnson, Lillie Legg, Lois Speakman, Mildred Sivley Wilhoite, Irene Dumas and Dorothy Chambers.
She is survived by: her children, Harvey Self, Jr., David Self (Elizabeth), Stanley Self, Leon Self (Kathy) and Rhonda Self; and her sisters, Lucille Alexander Nicholson and Gwen Holmes. She is also survived by Eight Grandchildren, Ten Great Grandchildren and One Great Great Granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers: Memorial donations may be made to your favorite charity, to the American Cancer Society or to the St Jude's Children's Hospital.
