She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Patterson and Vela Sherrill Patterson; and her husband Bill Russell. She is survived by: her children, Kelly Russell, Julia Russell Hall, Laura Russell Kellogg, Karen Russell Martin and Jennifer Russell Ricks; and her sister Jackie Morgan Dottie White.
