He was predeceased by: his parents, John Elliott McCutcheon and Ruth McCutcheon (Luker); his siblings, Joe McCutcheon and Carolyn Ullmer; and his pet Lorenzo.

He is survived by: his close friend Linda Woodall; his stepdaughter Dana Woodall Porter; his brothers, Billy McCutcheon (Eva) and Phil McCutcheon (Linda); his stepgrandsons, Joseph Winsett (Amber Davis) and Garrett Porter; and his pet Bat McCutcheon.
