He is survived by: his former wife Pamela Sturdy; his father Maurice Sturdy (Trudie); his wife PJ; his pet Danci; his daughters, Jennifer Wyatt (Rich) and Rachel Sturdy (Christopher Wilkinson); his stepchildren, Aaron Swenson (Ali "Lil Mermaid"), Angie Swenson, Ali Nichols (Josh) and Gracie Banks (Zack); his grandchildren, Zoie "Bella", Luke "Freddie" Nichols, Everett "Rhettie" Wyatt and Elijah "Eli" Banks; and his siblings, Richard Statton (Nancy Jo), Terry Statton (Janice) and Michelle Jelinek (Andy).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Rex Sturdy Memorial Fund through Wells Fargo benefiting his grandchildren.
