It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jane Elizabeth Gay (Hayneville, Alabama), born in Selma, Alabama, who passed away on September 13, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her son David; her sister Josephine "Jo" DeVane; and her parents, Jane Elizabeth Coker and Joseph Austin Jones. She is survived by : her husband Joseph "Gill" Gay; her sons, Joseph and Austin; and her grandson Jackson.
