She was predeceased by: her sister Frances Brown; and her son David Harold Sorden. She is survived by: her children, Patty Sorden Beesley, Linda Sorden Ellis, Edward Dennis Sorden, James Edward Sorden, William Francis Sorden and John Michael Sorden (Billie Sue). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.
