She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard R. Jenkins and Bessie Land Jenkins; her husband John W. West; her daughter Judy Faye West; and her siblings, Herbert, Ruth Haggard, Ruby Lance, Pluma West Marie Nelson, Cora Patterson and Gladys Evans Thacker.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Lyda (Bill) and Joan Bales (Kenneth); her grandchildren, Steve Lyda, Denise Lyda and Brian Bales; her great grandchildren, Haley Pendergrast (Michael), Stephanie Gravel (Jacob), Brianna, Josh and Megan Bales; her great great grandchild Lillian Grace; and her sister Dorothy Sharpton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
