It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnny Young Jr. of Hillsboro, Alabama, who passed away on September 23, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Johnnie James Young Sr. and Ellen Orr-Young of Courtland, AL.; his daughter Antonia "Toni"; and his brothers, Fred Young, Thomas Young, Harold Young and Carl Young.

He is survived by : his wife Frances Ann Sykes-Young of Hillsboro, AL; his daughter Felicia Key of Decatur, AL; his siblings, Joe Young (Charlotte) of Courtland, AL, Roy Young of Hillsboro, AL, Rodney Young (Donna) of Decatur, Trullie Watkins of Decatur, AL, Sally Gholston (James) of Decatur, AL and Cassie Battle of Huntsville, AL; his siblings-in-law, Alice Young of Hillsboro, AL, Jeanette Young of Decatur, AL, Tommy Sykes Jr. of Decatur, AL and Lawrence Bell of Decatur, AL; and his aunt Kate Young of Courtland, AL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
