With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita Marie Blaxton of Hillsboro, Alabama, who passed away on February 19, 2022 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Edgar Wayne Blaxton; and her parents, Octave Dalferes, Sr. and Louise LeBlanc Dalferes. She is survived by : her children, Wayne Blaxton, Donna Brooks (Cecil), Susan Reding (Kenny), Jeannie Downey (Rod), Janet Farley (Donnie) and Jane Gray (Randy); her sister Gloria Swarthout of Houma, LA.; and her grandsons, Trey Brooks, Matthew Blaxton, Jeremy Reding, Travis Downey, Patrick Davis, Jared Reding, Bob Brooks, Ben Blaxton and Christopher Jordan. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren.
