He was predeceased by: his parents, Asa Smith and Nell Smith; and his brother Nolan Smith. He is survived by: his spouse Nancy Osterhout; his children, Michael Smith (Rhonda), Shane Smith (Sheree) and Tammy Smith; his grandchildren, Kayla Jenkins and Kelly Smith; his sister Edna Williams; his sister-in-law Charlotte Smith; and his sibling's children, Tina Richey and Glen Williams.
