He is survived by: his wife Nancy Harrell; his daughters, Loma Harrell, Scarlet Mobley (Chad) and Colloni Keener (Mike); and his siblings, John Harrell, Joyce Weldon and Lillian Herrin. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
