She was predeceased by : her husband James Clayton McKenzie; her parents, William Frank Sewell and Ada Wade Sewell; her stepmother Mildred Holley Sewell; her siblings, Wade Sewell, Huey Sewell, Gerald Sewell, Mariola Sewell, Maxine Sewell Bynum and Theresa Sewell Mitchell; and her granddaughter Ashley Brooke Gilmore.
She is survived by : her children, Kim Gilmore (Rodney) and Doug McKenzie (Pam); her grandchildren, Brittney Burcham (Mark), Seth Gilmore (Brittany) and Lauren Pagel (Nate); her great grandchildren, Willow Brooke Gilmore and Baby Pagel; and her sisters-in-law, Mildred Williams, Edna Smith and Kathryne McKenzie.
