He was predeceased by: his daughter Wanda; his sister Hilda Dailey (Elmer); and his parent-in-law Leo Coffelt. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ruth Sandlin; his children, Kathy Kirkland (Joe) of Columbia, S. C. and Larry Sandlin (Donna) of Hokes Bluff, AL; his grandchildren, Tracey Johnson, Steven Baker (Lisa), Erin Morgan (Taylor) and Jessica Staton (Daylon); and his great grandchildren, Breighlyn Reeves, Dylan Reeves, Laiden Reeves, Landon Reeves, Dean Reeves, Mazely Reeves, Joshua Reeves, Julia Reeves, Andrew Reeves, Dalton Reeves and Martha Reeves.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hokes Bluff 1st United Methodist Church.
