With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jacob Wayne Butler (Hokes Bluff, Alabama), born in Gadsden, Alabama, who passed away on September 15, 2018. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Butler; and his grandfather Ronald Archer. He is survived by: his mother Lisa Butler; his brother Ryan Gilbreath (Courtney); his grandparents, Jerry Butler, Margaret Butler and Doris Johnson (Curt); and his sibling's children, Gage Gilbreath, Neveaha Gilbreath, Addalee Gilbreath and Tasha Moore. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

The family has requested in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Humane Society of Etowah County.
