He is survived by: his friend Carolyn Mursch; his sisters, Stella Smith, Susan Brooks (Frank), Janet Hillier and Jane Truman (Steven); his significant other Billie Hackney; and his friend Joe Harner. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donation in Terry's name may be made to the Lee Griffin Hope Lodge (1104 Ireland Way, Birmingham, AL 35205-7001).
