We are sad to announce that on October 4, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Anita Pilato (Homewood, Alabama). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, A. B. George and Mary Ann Smaha George. She is survived by: her husband William Pilato; her children, Matthew Pilato (Amie) and Natalie Pilato Andrews (Kenny); her grandchildren, Luke Pilato and Gia Andrews; her sister Kathy George Mezrano; her sibling's children, Jason Mezrano (Stacey) and Michelle James; and her great-nephews, Devin James, Peyton James and Maddox Mezrano.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church (1728 Oxmoor Rd, Homewood, AL 35209). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the O'Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center at UAB in her honor.
