With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Geisen Jr. (Hoover, Alabama), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 27, 2025 at the age of 76. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Geisen Jr. to pay them a last tribute.

As we bid adieu to James' earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration James has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Robert Geisen, Sr. and Lillian Gamble Geisen. He is survived by: his wife Glenda McDaniel Geisen; his children, Kimberly Geisen Fitts and Jonathan Robert Geisen; and his sisters, Frances George, Judy Agerton and Sara Chilton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church (4600 Preserve Pkwy, Hoover, AL 35226). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Robert's honor to either: (i) the American Cancer Society, https://donate.cancer.org., or (ii) the American Heart Association, https://www.heart.org..

“Glenda, Kim and Jon, Please know that the whole Benton family is praying for comfort for you all. Robert was such a special person to our dad and we share so many memories with you all over the years. May they meet again in heaven and await for the rest of us, so we can all be together soon again!
