He was predeceased by: his parents, Lathan Perkins and Flora Perkins (Jenkins); and his stepmother Vera. He is survived by: his wife Linda Perkins (Gober); his children, Gregory Mack (Linda) of Birmingham, AL and Melissa Campbell (Matt) of Nashville, TN; his grandchildren, Michael, Jack, Lewis, Redding, Caroline, Sarah, Isabella and Rosalie; his cousin Shelby Freise of Sandy Springs; and his siblings-in-law, Frances of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Charlotte (Larry) of Oxford, MS and Ken of Lake Jackson, TX. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Leak Memory Chapel (945 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, AL 36109). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
