He was predeceased by: his parents, Harlie Halstead, Sr. and Linnie Hollon Halstead; and his siblings, Johnny Earl Halstead, Leadon Halstead, Betty Merle White and Eugenia Marie Halstead.
He is survived by: his wife Ouida Dickerson; his daughter Carla Halstead Gamble (Dwight); his sister Laura Lounette Halstead; and his grandchildren, Andrew Caleb Gamble and Anna Grace Gamble. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
