He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Abbott and Winnie Hill Abbott; his daughter Patty Boyd; his grandson Josh Abbott; and his brothers, Larry Abbott and Orville Abbott.
He is survived by: his wife Nadine Abbott; his sons, Tim Abbott and David Abbott; his grandchildren, Matt Abbott (Natalie), Joseph Abbott (Amanda) and Morgan Martin (Steven); and his great grandchildren, Taylor Porter, Piper Abbott and Ava Abbott.
