He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry Bolan and Frances Bolan Johnson; his stepfather Elmer Johnson; and his siblings, Pauline Alexander, Hazel Welborn, Frank Bolan, Billy Johnson and Jimmy Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Loree Blankenship Bolan; his children, Lynn Bolan Tidwell (William) and Tim Bolan (Emily); his grandchildren, Jessica Earlene Tidwell Webb (Nate), Tyler Tidwell, Lili Bolan, Kenzi Bolan and Emma Bolan; his great grandchildren, Madilynn Webb and Mereydth Webb; and his siblings, Wilma McLemore, Leamon Bolan, Mary Johnson, Dorothy Latham (Glenn), Inez Alexander and Raymond Johnson.
