We are sad to announce that on December 23, 2019, at the age of 69, Michael Gilley (Houston, Alabama) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sollie Henry Gilley and Anna Julia Collins Gilley; his brother Douglas Gilley; his sister-in-law Carol Gilley; and his brother Donald Gilley.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Helms Gilley; his daughter Joanna Gilley Hillis (Dave); his granddaughters, Ivy Grace Hillis and Ellie Katherine Hillis; his brother-in-law Paul Helms (Elaine); and his cousins, Beth Selfe (Carl) and Tom Collins. He is also survived by nieces, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the local chapter of the American Red Cross.
